I installed Chrome a second time in an attempt to solve a problem that I thought was an issue with Firefox and turned out to be something else entirely! The installation was quick and easy. Chrome imported all my Firefox bookmarks with ease, reminding me to close Firefox so it could access them. I didn't allow the installer to make Chrome the default browser initially, but after half an hour I was ready to take the plunge.
This won't be news to those of you already using Google Chrome but the new browser feels much faster than Firefox. I see that 20% of visitors to G4ILO's Shack are using the Chrome browser. I think it won't be long until it overtakes the 27% of my visitors using Firefox.

I have an aging WIN7 laptop. For some reason FireFox takes as long as a minute to open pages that take seconds in IE or Chrome. On my desktop, there is no significant difference. Having to use IE has made me reconsider it as a primary browser. It is actually pretty good, and I am looking for IE 10. Chrome was a nice change, but lacked some key add-ons I do depend on. At least so far.
I've got it on my iPod Touch now too. Works very well. Very tempted to get a Samsung Chromebook series 3 for Christmas. At £229 it is a bargain and worth trying living entirely in the cloud. Just hope someone does a WSPR app for ChromeOS.
Have been using Chrome on my MacBook for a while now, and have to say that i am delighted with it.
Have tried it on the PC too, but couldn't get on with it asit was set out differently, so stuck with Firefox. Will have to give it another look though.
i changed to chrome from firefox after i read your blog and it is faster than firefox so it`s now my default browser, hope all is well with yourself and olga and that your condition continues to inprove
