I came across this website while reading a thread about the new Kenwood TH-D72. It claims to be the best website for current information about working FM satellites. It looks pretty good, but I really need to find the time to look through all the information. There's a blog, too.
The trouble with this hobby is that there is so little time and so many interesting, challenging things you can do!

Hi Julian, I don't know why but I cannot open both sites. Will try it again in the evening. There was a time that I could not do HF with my license. That was the time that I did a lot of sat communication. Most on UO14 en AO27. Even from the mobile with my Alinco DJ-G5 (yes also full duplex). I even managed to reach the birds with my HT when I was in Cornwall in 2001, didn't make a QSO though. But you're right there are so many things....

Thanks for the blog mention of my satellite site! It has help a lot of fellow hams to work the FM sats - with equipment they usually already own. If your handheld radio can be programmed with "split freqs" (RX on 440 and TX on 2M), then all you need is a little better antenna, and you'll be working the birds this week.
