I have received many favourable comments whenever I have posted pictures from some of my local walks in this blog. I'm sure this has more to do with the beauty of the landscape than my skill as a photographer or the quality of my camera. Still, your appreciation of my pictures gave me the idea that I could use some of them to create desktop backgrounds or wallpapers that I could give away as promotional freebies from a website that needs more visitors. Here's a sample of one of them.
If you would like a view from the English Lakes to brighten up your desktop, please visit Free Desktop Wallpapers. I hope you find something there you like. And please feel free to post the link anywhere it might be seen by others who would enjoy the images. Every little helps!
Julian,
ReplyDeleteI for one think your outdoor shots of the Lake District and surrounding countryside are great. Please keep them coming.

Nicely done Julian! You have a good "eye". Keep shooting one of the most beautiful parts of Britain. I did the B&B route through there many years ago.
ReplyDeleteJulian,
ReplyDeleteThey are simply beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

I have to say some of those shots are quite stunning and I have fond memories of past Lakeland visits - the lanscape is very different down here on the coast - thanks.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Julian, very nice picture my wife and I are headed to England in May of next year for a 5 week vacation. I hope we can run across some of this great landscape.
ReplyDeleteJulian, once again thanks for sharing the pictures of the area around you. It's quite a bit different than this part of Arizona and I love just being able to see them. I'm beginning to understand why my mother and her mother(who was from England) used to talk so much about it.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much.
