We'll have to see how that works out, otherwise I guess the OAFS will be something else for eBay. :(Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11984840704237681015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-953397841255562532.post-2087890848481033982011-05-29T07:42:19.958+01:002011-05-29T07:42:19.958+01:00Julian,

There are parts of the UK that cannot get BBC Radio 4 on DAB and that also applies to boats who use it to receive the shipping forecast. Plus the 198kHz broadcast contains time signals that are used by types of electricity meter. So I think there is a fair chance that long wave signals will be around as long as I am.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11984840704237681015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-953397841255562532.post-15463336396119259432011-05-24T09:24:44.756+01:002011-05-24T09:24:44.756+01:00Interesting, but do you trust that BBC will keep t...Interesting, but do you trust that BBC will keep transmitting their long wave signals on 198 kHz (I think you mean that altough it says MHz)? Won't medium/long wave transmissions eventually disappear as DAB takes over for radio? That's what we are seeing in Norway.

Sverre, LA3ZASverre Holmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08306221557326542499noreply@blogger.com
